We install using the Heatwell Best Practice system, developed over two decades to protect the cable during the build. It's why our installations withstand regular foot traffic and heavy furniture, and it's why we're able to guarantee our installation work for up to 25 years.*
Heatwell specialises in electric underfloor heating. We do not install in-concrete or water-based systems.
All we need to quote is your floor plan or the square meters.
* Our installation guarantee covers our workmanship. Our two series of underfloor heating cable carries its own manufacturer's warranty.
We Replace
Underfloor heating stopped working? It's usually the thermostat.
Controllers fail over time, the way any electrical appliance does. The cable underneath is almost always fine.
Our thermostats are designed to replace most pre-existing thermostats in New Zealand — including Siemens, Aube, Honeywell, and Warmup. In most cases we can use your existing floor probe and the same wall mount, so there's no lifting your floor and no new holes in your wall.
Heatwell specialises in electric underfloor heating. We do not replace thermostats used for water-based systems.
In Auckland? We'll replace it for you.
Outside Auckland? Buy the thermostat and any registered electrician can fit it. We'll talk them through it if they need a hand.

Two cable ranges: Pro Series is a twin core cable, Gold Series is the traditional single core cable. NZ Supplier Declaration of Conformity available for both.
