Gold Series Underfloor Heating Cable
Heatwells' exclusive Gold Series of underfloor heating cable has recently been developed. The Gold Series has been developed with both the DIY and professional installer in mind.
The Pro Series comes with a 15-year warranty*.
The Gold Series has four resistance elements that are covered by a FEP layer of inner insulation. A copper braid is woven over the inner insulation. The copper braid is connected to the earth of the cold tail. The copper braid is then covered with another layer of PVC. The PVC has been modified to allow the cable to be flexible and have very little cable memory.
The Gold Series cable is sourced and manufactured in China. Our Chinese supplier is AS9100 and CE certified. The Chinese suppliers quality control is outstanding. They source, manufacture and test every single raw material throughout the manufacturing process. All Gold Series cable is tested and can be tracked back to a batch.
A 15-year warrantee has been given by the manufacturer. However, if the installer follows the Heatwell Best Practice, the cable will easily last the lifetime of the install.
All of the Golds Series cables are sold with two floor probes. One floor probe being the primary, the other being a backup. Both floor probes are 10 kOhm's.
