Gold Series Underfloor Heating Cable
Heatwell Gold Series is a single-core electric underfloor heating cable designed by Heatwell in New Zealand and manufactured to Heatwell's specifications. It carries a New Zealand Supplier Declaration of Conformity and a 15-year manufacturer's warranty.
Heatwells' Gold Series underfloor heating cable has a FEP inner layer and a PVC outer layer. The PVC has been modified to have very little cable memory. The Gold Series is 11W per lineal metre, has two cold tails at 2.5m, and is round with thicknesses between 2.69mm and 2.99mm. The Gold Series has copper heating elements, a stainless steel earth wire, and comes with 2 10kOhm floor probes (1 x Primary 1 x Spare).
Heatwells' Gold Series cable is made by a large international Chinese supplier that is AS9100 and CE certified. The Chinese supplier has outstanding quality control and offers excellent quality assurance. The Gold Series cable comes with a 15-year manufacturers'' warranty.
The Gold Series underfloor heating cable is very similar to most underfloor heating cable available in the NZ market. The Gold Series advantage over our competitors is that we have designed the cable to have very little cable memory. The Gold Series cable unspools very well during installation. The Gold Series priced is very competitively, especially in the larger sizes.
The Gold Series cable has been designed to be the traditional 11W per lineal metre. Install the Gold Series with the spacings you have always used.
Heatwells' Gold Series currently comes in 22 different sizes; 150W, 200W, 250W, 300W, 350W, 400W, 450W ,500W, 550W, 600W, 650W, 700W, 800W, 900W, 1000W, 1125W, 1250W, 1500W, 1750W, 2000W, 2500W, and 3000W.

Floor Measuring App
Unlike most other electrical cable, underfloor heating cable cannot be cut to length. Cutting an underfloor heating cable will void warranty. Determining the right size cable, in Watts, is vital before installation. Heatwell has designed an app to help both the professional installer and the DIY customer determine the area required for underfloor heating, and the size underfloor heating cable required to cover that area.
