Heatwell has been installing underfloor heating in NZ since 2000. Over that period, we have used a range of thermostats. Heatwell now designs and uses our own range of thermostats.
Thermostats Heatwell has previously used include: Heatwell HT2, Siemens RDE20, Siemens RDE100.1, Hotwire TR8100V, Aube TH232, and HNB TX928H. Heatwell can replace the Heatwell HT2, Siemens RDE20, Siemens RDE100.1, Hotwire TR8100V, Aube TH232, or HNB TX928H, in the greater Auckland region.

Heatwell HT2
The HT2 is Heatwells' first foray into designing and installing our own thermostats. The HT2 is now obsolete.
Heatwell provides a downloadable manual and a programming video for the HT2. Parts for the HT2 are no longer available. The HT2 can be replaced by the Heatwell HT4 using the existing floor probe and wall mount.

Siemens RDE20
The Siemens RDE20 is an obsolete underfloor heating controller previously installed by Heatwell in New Zealand. Heatwell provides a downloadable manual and a programming video for the RDE20. Parts are no longer available. The RDE20 can be replaced with a Heatwell HT4 using the existing floor probe and wall mount.

Siemens RDE100.1
The Siemens RDE100.1 is an underfloor heating controller previously installed by Heatwell in New Zealand. The Siemens RDE100.1 is a current thermostat and is still available. Heatwell stopped installing the Siemens RDE100.1 due to customer feedback. Customer feedback suggested that the Siemens RDE100.1 is very difficult to program.
Heatwell provides a downloadable manual and a programming video for the RDE100.1. Heatwell does not hold an parts or offer a programming service for the RDE100. Heatwell will not install the RDE100 as a new installation or as a replacement.
The RDE100.1 can be replaced with a Heatwell HT4 using the existing floor probe and wall mount.

Hotwire TR8100V
The Hotwire TR8100V is an obsolete underfloor heating controller previously installed by Heatwell in New Zealand. Heatwell provides a downloadable manual and a programming video for the TR8100V. Parts are no longer available. The TR8100V can be replaced with a Heatwell HT4 using the existing floor probe and wall mount.

Aube TH232
The Aube TH232 is an obsolete underfloor heating controller previously installed by Heatwell in New Zealand. Heatwell provides a downloadable manual and a programming video for the TH232. Parts are no longer available. The TH232 can be replaced with a Heatwell HT4 using the existing floor probe and wall mount.

HNB TX928H
The Siemens HNB TX928H is an underfloor heating controller previously installed by Heatwell in New Zealand. The HNB TX928H is a current thermostat and is still available. Heatwell stopped installing the HNB TX928H due to customer feedback. Customer feedback suggested that the HNB TX928H is very difficult to program.
