How level should the floor be before underfloor heating is installed?

Before installing underfloor heating, the floor must be leveled. If this step is skipped, the heat will be distributed unevenly once the underfloor heating is on. To achieve an even heat distribution, the heating cables must be on the same level.
Heatwell applies screed or leveling compound over our wires. However, the screed's purpose is to position the cables as desired and offer some protection for the cable before the final flooring is put in place. The screed we use is not intended to level the floor.
